Location
The
practice is located along a narrow, historic road in central
Loughborough, which has been mostly pedestrianised - so there
is limited parking available at the front of the practice.
Thus it is best to allow extra time with your appointment,
so that you can park in one of Loughborough's designated car
parks.
Disabled
patients should be dropped off at the practice where the receptionists
will assist you; please inform them that you will need their
assistance when you book your appointment. Patients in wheelchairs
are welcome and catered for. For those who are housebound,
we also offer domiciliary visits.
How
Long Will I be at the Practice?
Please allow at least 2 hours for your first appointment with
us. During this time the following procedures may occur:
- The
prescription of your current spectacles (if any) will be
measured
- Your
optometrist will spend at least half an hour with you
- Further
diagnostic tests may be required, such as measuring the
pressure within your eyes, checking the extent of your visual
fields, and Optomap imaging of the back of the eyes.
-
Finally, you may want to select a new frame and new lenses
for new spectacles.
